Ice making process
- 1. Tube ice is formed in a vertical shell-and -tube vessel by water passing down inside the tubes which are cooled by the circulation of refrigerant on the outer surface.
- 2. As the ice falls from the tubes it is cut by the rotating ice cutter to a desired size. the ice tubes are about 50mm in length and 22, 29, 32, 35mm for options in external diameter
- 3. When the ice reaches the desired thickness, the water flow will stop automatically. The refrigerant is removed to a surge drum and hot gas is circulated around the tubes causing the ice tubes to melt and slide down.
